Staff members have a minimum of First Aid and CPR certification. Many have also received a Wilderness First Responder certification. Coaches hold certifications and participate in ongoing instructor training in order to offer the best possible learning experiences for student athletes.

Safety is a priority at RIDGE and we adhere to the commonly accepted safety practices in the field to provide a supportive learning environment for our student athletes. Our staff's training and experience is commensurate with other professionals who coach skiing, mountain biking, and other mountain sports. Inherently, there are risks and challenges associated with the sports and activities offered at RIDGE Mountain Academy. At RIDGE, we make safety and fun our top priorities.

RIDGE Mountain Academy is alcohol, tobacco and substance free.
