Student athletes come to RIDGE to train in mountain sports and learn how to balance an active lifestyle with their education and daily life tasks.
RIDGE coaches work with student athletes to define individual goals and develop customized plans that focus on a combination of mountain sports, academics, health and fitness, and life skills.
RIDGE Coaches foster a consistent and supportive environment, in which student athletes are able to bridge the gap between high school and more independent living.
With coaching and support student athletes develop:
Better decision making skills
Personal accountability
Accurate recognition of their mental and physical edge
The ability to balance independence and collaboration
Peer leadership experience
Self initiation, motivation, and organization
At RIDGE, student athletes work hard, play hard and learn how to make appropriate lifestyle choices. Student athletes develop the skills to excel in the future whether that’s in college, or a career in mountain sports.
